Anu was born and brought up in India until her family moved to the United States in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2010, followed by Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in August of 2013. Anu enjoys working with adolescent to geriatric population for orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, improving their activity level and quality of life. She holds special interest in using IASTM techniques in her treatment plan for patients. She hopes to expand her knowledge in providing treatment interventions focusing on evidence based practice with ongoing clinical experience and continuing education courses. Anu has learned Indian classical dance from her childhood and she currently enjoys choreographing and performing various improvisations of Indian dance forms during cultural events. Having a different cultural background herself, Anu appreciates and enjoys the cultural diversity around her and takes pride to be a part of the health and wellness network of the community through her profession.
